1 h
300 US dollars
Stagecoach Road

Service Description

An hour experience will include meet and greet the sled dogs, sled education and safety, harnessing and booting, kennel tour, learn how to hook up the dog team, go for a beautiful approximate 10 acre loop ride on our groomed trails, and give treats to the sled dogs for a job well done! Please arrive 20 minutes early for check in. Guests are not permitted in kennel area without musher or employee in attendance for safety. Upon arrival, follow directions to our Red Lantern Heritage Center. Check in, warm up, and check out the gift shop and dogsledding displays! The hour experience can include individual or shared rides, however each ride has a 300 pound weight limit with any combination of passengers. Trail conditions are highly variable and will affect the type of sled/cart and length of ride. Very warm or icy conditions may make it unsafe to ride the trail. The $100 reservation fee is non-refundable but transferrable to a rescheduled date if ride is cancelled due to unsafe conditions. Please bring your own bike helmet or other helmet if you wish to wear one. For bathrooms, we have an authentic musher's outhouse, or there is a Stewarts about 1 mile from us.
